Due to spatial display of the operating field and the enhanced perception of the image depth, anatomical structures and operating instruments appear more clearly in proportion to each other than using 2D technology.

The EJ-MDA26E and EJ-MDA32E2 medical-grade monitors are equipped with IPS technology. Using this modern system, images on the monitor can be viewed in the same quality from a wide angle. Panasonic’s trend-setting 3D monitors are the excellent surgical assistants and their LCD IPS displays and LED backlighting produce high resolution with deep contrasts, maximum brightness and fadeless reproduction. Panasonic 3D monitors display medical procedures brilliantly and with a natural-looking 3D effect in every format (SIMUL, Side by Side, Line by Line and Top/Bottom).

IPX2 standard for moist disinfection

The operating room monitor complies with the IPX2 standard, which means it is protected against dripping water, dust and, above all, contamination through bacteria and viruses. This makes our operating theatre monitor quick and easy to clean: its surfaces can be moist-disinfected and remain clinically clean with very little effort. The room equipment therefore fulfill the demands of hospitals and achieves perfect results even under enormous time pressure.

Energy efficient

High performance coupled with low energy consumption is the idea behind the sophisticated design of Panasonic’s operating room monitors. Low power consumption is achieved by features such as the newly developed ‘Power Save Mode’ – the monitor switches to stand-by after 30 seconds of no video signal. Furthermore, Panasonic’s operating room monitors reduce heat output to a minimum. This allows temperatures in operating rooms to remain calculable and constant – without putting any extra burden on the air-conditioning systems.

Nicely framed

The black bezel guarantees to display excellent images,  and gives additional emphasis to fadeless, flicker-free brilliant pictures. A special panel coating reduces reflections and guarantees ultra-high contrast, even when using in bright conditions.

Hygienic design

The back panel is designed without ventilation openings so it protects the unit against moisture ingress when disinfecting it. Cable cover enables connections to be hidden away safely and tidily. The entire surface can be cleaned quickly using a moist cloth and disinfectant.

Consistent image reproduction

Panasonic guarantees an exact and detailed reproduction of image data, precisely as sent to the monitor by the camera or processor.

With up to 16 different inputs and outputs, the display is compatible with every conventional system, allowing flexible usage.

Clear operating panel for intuitive operation

A clearly organised operating panel with four programmable buttons for quick access to saved settings. A function button for toggling quickly between 3D and 2D view is also available. All of the buttons can be operated even when wearing surgical gloves.

Anti-fog for a clear view

The insides of the unique 3D polarisation glasses have an anti-fog coating. Glasses without such a coating can steam up due to the breath in combination with surgical masks and operating room caps. This new type of anti-fog coating helps surgeons at every crucial moment.

Compact AC adaptor

A compact AC adaptor makes installation easier, especially in ceiling supply units and cart housings.
