The Right Monitor for Every Requirement
Endoscopic monitors from EIZO deliver highly detailed images – for precise procedures, better teamwork and maximum safety in endoscopic and microsurgical procedures.
Interventional monitors from EIZO deliver razor-sharp, DICOM-calibrated images – ideal for vascular intervention, cardiology and angiography. Designed to meet the highest demands of everyday clinical practice, they support precise work, quick decisions and reliable diagnoses.
The RadiForce series of greyscale and colour monitors support calibration in accordance with the DICOM® standard and offer outstanding image quality, which is ensured by EIZO’s proprietary software solutions RadiCS and RadiNET Pro. They are characterised by maximum reliability and powerful functions for precise diagnoses.
EIZO medical monitors have been specially developed for 24/7 use in everyday clinical practice – they are durable, hygienic and low-maintenance. Even under difficult conditions, they deliver razor-sharp, lag-free images – for maximum patient safety and precise work in operating theatres, diagnostics and medical practices.
Medical monitors are specially designed for use in clinics and operating theatres. They offer higher image accuracy, DICOM calibration, uniform brightness and hygienic surfaces. Conventional monitors do not meet these requirements and are not approved for medical use.
DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) is an international standard for the representation of medical images. DICOM calibration ensures that grey scales are displayed consistently and accurately – essential for precise diagnoses and assessments. EIZO’s interventional monitors are DICOM-calibrated.
Medical monitors are used in the following areas, among others:
Depending on the area of application, requirements for resolution, colour representation and response speed vary.
Diagnostic monitors such as EIZO’s interventional monitors are optimised for analysing image data with particularly high resolution and precise grey scale representation. Surgical monitors such as EIZO’s endoscopic monitors, on the other hand, focus on real-time playback, high colour fidelity and large image areas for visualisation during surgical procedures.
High resolution, such as 4K UHD, enables the display of the finest anatomical structures. In surgery and diagnostics, this supports precise work and improves patient safety.
In surgical procedures, especially minimally invasive procedures, tissue colours must be displayed realistically. Accurate colour reproduction helps surgeons to clearly distinguish between different types of tissue and operate safely. Endoscopy monitors from EIZO display images true to life with the highest accuracy.
‘Medical grade’ refers to devices that meet specific standards and safety requirements for clinical use, such as IEC 60601. These monitors are particularly reliable, electromagnetically compatible and easy to clean.
