Product Features
4K UHD Surgical Imaging
The monitor’s 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), four times that of full HD, faithfully reproduces surgical images from endoscopic and microscopic cameras, revealing fine details that standard full HD monitors may miss.
Clear Display with High Brightness and High Contrast Ratio
The monitor features an energy-efficient LED backlight with a high brightness of 820 cd/m². The high contrast ratio of 2000:1 delivers sharp disticntion between dark and bright areas. Furthermore, optical bonding eliminates the air gap between the protective glass and the LCD panel, reducing reflections from ambient light. This enhances depth in dark tones and maintains high visibility even under bright surgical lighting.
Wide Color Gamut for Distinguishing Tones
During procedures, it is essential for the operating surgeon to distinguish subtle variations in color tones. The monitor supports the BT.2020 4K video color standard, ensuring that even slight differences in shades of red and yellow captured by BT.2020-supported cameras are clearly visible on the screen.
HDR Gamma Support for Imaging Clarity
HDR (High Dynamic Range) is a display technology that reproduces color and light in a way that closely reflects human visual perception. The monitor supports the perceptual quantization (PQ) curve and hybrid log gamma (HLG) of HDR, allowing images from HDR-compatible endoscopic cameras to appear more lifelike without losing detail in dark areas.
27-inch Format for Fully Visibility and Flexible Installation
The 27-inch format provides ample screen space for full visibility at close viewing distances, supporting natural eye movement during procedures. The monitor’s compact footprint allows for flexible installation in space-constrained environments, with support for ceiling mounted arms and wall fixtures.
Versatile Terminals, Streamlined Connectivity
With BNC (12G-SDI), and DisplayPortTM or HDMI® terminals, the monitor supports 4K UHD video signals at 60 frames per second. It connects directly to a variety of devices with a single cable, streamlining cable management during installation.
Secure Connection
Since HDMI terminals lack a locking mechanism, the monitor is designed with a built-in locking feature to prevent accidental disconnection and ensure a stable connection.
Cable Cover for Safety and Hygiene
A cable cover is included to neatly organize cables, helping maintain a safe and hygienic surgical environment.
External Device Integration
Equipped with an RS-232C communication port, the monitor allows control and integration with external devices. For example, when connected to the medical imaging recorder MIR-1, the monitor can display a red tally light on-screen to show recording status, allowing the medical staff to check it without looking away from the surgical field.
Fully Flat Design for Safety and Hygiene
To ensure medical staff safety during equipment relocation and rearrangement in operating rooms, the monitor adopt a rounded, corner-free design. The front surface features a full-flat protective glass, offering excellent cleanability. Dust and water resistance is rated IP45 for the monitor front and IP32 for the entire unit.
High Durability
The monitor front is covered with 9H hardness protective glass to shield the LCD screen from impact. Additionally, optical bonding eliminates the air gap between the protective glass and the LCD panel, preventing damage caused by dust, moisture, or other contaminants.
Condensation Prevention
Optical bonding prevents condensation between the LCD panel and protective glass, even in environments with significant temperature fluctuations, ensuring consistent display visibility.
Mirroring and 180-Degree Rotation
The monitor supports horizontal mirroring and 180-degree rotation, allowing image orientation to be adjusted to match the viewing angle of surgeons and assistants, regardless of the endoscopic camera’s position.
Dual-Screen Display on One Screen
Equipped with PinP (Picture-in-Picture) and PbyP (Picture-by-Picture) functions, the monitor allows simultaneous display of two different input signals side by side. This is especially useful during surgery when monitoring multiple modalities is required.
Independent Display Modes for Dual-Screen Viewing
When displaying two images simultaneously, each can be individually set to the optimal display mode, such as gamma 1.8 – 2.6 or DICOM Preset Mode, depending on the type of modalities, including endoscopy, CT, or MRI.
Pass-Through Display to Additional Monitors
With BNC (12G-SDI), DVI, and DisplayPort output terminals, input from surgical devices can be easily passed through to other monitors via simple cabling. This enables synchronized display across multiple monitors in the operating room, facilitating smooth information sharing among medical staff.
Fail-Safe Display for Signal Loss Protection
Equipped with an “Auto Input Detection” function that automatically switches to another connected input port when a video signal is lost. This fail-safe mechanism ensures continuous display and reliability even due to a system error or other external interference.
Rest Assured with Medical and Safety Standards
To ensure safety and reliability in medical environments, the monitor complies with various medical, safety, and EMC standards.
