Conventional video management with wall-mounted OR workstation

The central interface of this flexible EIZO viewing station is the Surgical Panel – our powerful OR wall console. Clearly visible to all members of the OR team, no matter where it is located, different image and video signals, as well as hospital-specific applications and software, can be reproduced on a large monitor. Easy source switching and flexible configuration options ensure optimum video management in the OR and intuitive, ergonomic working methods.

Connection to the hospital IT system

Access to existing software applications, such as PACS viewer and OR planning and documentation systems, via the hospital network.

Ergonomic, simple, and reliable

Simple and reliable operation via push buttons (e.g. for switching the lookup tables or the signal inputs), as well as an integrated medical silicone keyboard and mouse.

Modular design for flexibility

Flexible solution for multiple signal formats and connection options – both digital and analog. Systems can be easily expanded at a later date.

Details

  • EIZO always provides customized advice and support, tailoring solutions to meet the precise needs of the individual operating room.
  • Surgical Panel SP1-494K, equipped with an internal PC, buttons for switching preconfigured lookup tables and optionally with a video management component and a 49" 4K screen.
  • Operated via a keyboard and mouse on the front of the Surgical Panel.
  • The integrated video management VMbasic has the following possible input interfaces: DisplayPort, DVI-I Single Link, HDMI (4K@30Hz), 2x HDMI (4K@60Hz).
  • With VMbasic, the connected sources and available layouts can be selected using the push buttons on the front of the Surgical Panel. Another push button allows the routing of the signal inputs in the selected layout.
  • The video management interfaces can be located anywhere in the OR (DPU, wall, or front of the Surgical Panel) to integrate the image signals from different modalities into the video management system.
  • The cabling for DVI/HDMI signals is provided using EIZO’s proprietary TDL link solution.
  • The transmitters for the TDL links can easily be integrated into flush-mounted boxes and do not require their own power supply.
  • The hygienic design and surface of the Surgical Panel makes them easy to disinfect for use in the OR.
  • All EIZO monitors are optimized for display in the OR.

Our Surgical Panel comes with modular components and has blanking plates on the front. This allows additional signal inputs to be integrated at a later stage.

Up to 10 m with direct cabling (HDMI, SDI, DVI, DP, analog) in the conventional video management system, and up to 36 m with our link technology (TDL). With fiber-optic cables and video management over IP, 10 GB can be transmitted up to 400 m.

EIZO solutions are open and vendor independent.

In principle, all possible sources can be connected to the system.

EIZO solutions are open systems and can be connected via DICOM or HL7 with no difficulty.

EIZO provides training on the use of its products. We also provide after-sales support as a matter of course.
